Magnetic-contact point detectors are designed to detect intrusion into the protected premises by reacting to a change in the position of the protected door (hatch) in the entrance opening of the protected structure with the issuance of an alarm notification to the loop of the control panel by closing or opening the reed switch contacts.

For the detector in the "SPECTRON-IO-102-….-Exd-…" versions, the explosion and explosion resistance of the shell comply with the requirements for electrical equipment of groups I and II in accordance with GOST IEC 60079-1-2013. The shell is tested for explosion resistance during manufacture in accordance with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-1-2011. The parameters of the flameproof connections of the sensor shell comply with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-1-2011 for electrical equipment of groups I and II. The cable gland provides a permanent and durable cable seal in accordance with the requirements of GOST IEC 60079-1-2011.
